This episode is from a video I did called “How Much Screen Time is Too Much for Kids?” Parents are always wanting to know how much screen time is too much for kids. It seems like we just can't get away from screens. School, entertainment, and even social activity all now revolves around screens. I go over the recommended screen time for babies, the recommended screen time for toddlers, and the screen time recommended for kids and teens. It seems the actual amount of screen time our kids are using is not in line with the recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAoP) and the World Health Organization (WHO). I also discuss some of the effects of too much screen time on our kids. What are the warnings signs we need to look out for and how are they affecting our kids.
