LONG TIME NO SEEEEE!!! I missed you all so much :')
Kind of an out of pocket episode topic this week-- but I was looking at the Spotify 20 year anniversary celebration data where my No. 1 streamed artists of all time was Troye Sivan.
Specifically, his first album Blue Neighborhood. I remember being a closeted teenager listening to it for the first time, and felt chills across my whole body. It was the first time I ever heard music that I felt spoke that directly and deeply to me. It singlehandedly set me down the path of life that I am on, and none of this channel would have ever happened without that album 0:00 - Intro 1:50 - Catching up 4:09 - Blue Neighborhood Lore 6:52 - Album Review 9:35 - SUBURBIA 12:28 - HEAVEN 17:31 - The Blue Neighborhood Trilogy 24:02 - LOST BOY 28:28 - Troye's Evolution #troyesivan #blueneighborhood #albumreview

SHOUTOUT to the creator Mikey Posada for his video on this topic that inspired me to make a response to his take!!
Y'all have been asking for an Adéla episode for a LONGGG time, and with her debut album out last week, it was finally time to answer the call!!Adela has been an artist to watch of mine for a WHILE now. Since she released her first single as an independent artist. The signs of becoming a major popstar are all there. The performance, vocals, artistry, visuals, storytelling and worldbuilding. Every time I hear her speak she reminds me of a young Lady Gaga. She has so much hunger and drive that I can't wait to see her career explode from here0:00 - Intro6:57 - Adéla Dream Academy11:10 - What makes Adéla so different?15:52 - The Opposite of Katseye17:26 - What Adéla stands for20:07 - Adéla's songwriting22:09 - Adéla's Branding23:09 - Bangerz Miley Cyrus25:37 - Adéla Branding (cont)30:00 - Adéla is a DANCER
It's been a long time since we did a solo video essay!!! I missed it so muchThe biggest shoutout to @Lindsiann and her video that inspired this one:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pN_OGOPI92g This week I wanted to do a deep dive on the creative process itself. As someone with Adhd and a chronic procrastination problem, this is something I think about ALL the time. How sometimes, spending so much time on the planning process, creative ideas, and brainstorming can actually be a form of procrastination as an artist.I've always been obsessed with books like The Artist's Way or The Creative Act and hopefully this video gives a similar feeling0:00 - Intro 3:47 - The Perfectionist 7:24 - How to stop being a perfectionist 9:31 - The Potentialist 13:34- stop being addicted to potential 16:45 - The Strategist 21:24 - The Overthinker 24:05 - Complacency Kills Ambition 26:06 - How to stop overthinking
