X-Men 132 - 134 With the Hellfire Club revealed to our heroes, they decide they need to meet their enemies on their own ground: at a Hellfire party in the Inner Circle's New York base. However, the Hellfire Club are prepared for them. Mastermind is able to convert Jean Grey fully into the Black Queen, and the X-Men are quickly captured by one of their own. With a battle on the astral plane striking Cyclops down, will the X-Men be able to defeat the Inner Circle? (They can). Will Jean shake off her brainwashing? (She will). Will Jason Wyngarde get what's coming to him? (He absolutely will and it will be soooooo awesome!) Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
More from eX-Men
It’s the distant future of 2013! The sentinels have taken over and most of the X-Men are dead. There’s only one option for survival: send Kitty Pryde’s mind back into her teenage body. Can our heroes stop the assassination of Senator Robert Kelly and save the future? Who is Mystique? Why is her new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants so FABULOUS? All this and more in this week’s issue!
RIP Jean Grey, we remember her fondly at her funeral... except no, Scott recounts the entire history of the X-Men in this issue. They X-Men don't have time to remember their fallen friend, we need to get this all out of the way and head back to CANADA! Wolverine has unfinished business with Alpha Flight and his old friends, James and Heather MacDonald Hudson. Before we can deal with that, we need to deal with another foe from Logan's past: the Wendigo!
