More from Mere C.S. Lewis
In this episode of Mere C.S. Lewis, Thornton is joined by special guest Mark Bradley, a Marine, business owner, and longtime friend, to explore The Silver Chair, the fifth book we will dive into in C.S. Lewis's beloved Chronicles of Narnia.
Thornton sets sail for the Eastern Seas to explore one of the most beloved—and perhaps most searching—of the Chronicles: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Joined by author Katherine Langrish (From Spare Oom to War Drobe), we dive deep into a story that is less a military campaign and more a spiritual pilgrimage. Together they discuss: Personal Memories of Dawn Treader
Celebrating this year's CS Lewis Reading day, Thornton discusses this year's theme of "Affection" from The Four Loves with his brother, Taylor. Exploring what affection looks like in today's digital age, these men explore how Lewis’ insights still apply today. 💡🤝❤️
In this episode of The Mere C.S. Lewis Podcast, I’m joined by filmmaker Anthony D’Ambrosio, director of the new movie Triumph of the Heart. This powerful film examines and celebrates the life of St. Maximilian Kolbe, a Catholic priest and martyr during the Holocaust, whose act of sacrificial love continues to inspire people across the world today. Anthony shares the vision behind the film, the challenges of bringing such a profound story to the screen, and why Kolbe’s life resonates so deeply with our modern world. Together, we discuss the intersection of Lewis and Kolby and how stories of courage, sacrifice, and faith can change the way we view our own lives. If you’re interested in faith, history, or powerful storytelling that bridges past and present, you won’t want to miss this conversation. 👉 Learn more about the film here: triumphoftheheart.com Connect with Mere C.S.
