This is where the magic happens! We’re finally at handover — where you’ll get the keys to your new home. Today, we're going to learn what 'handover' actually means, plus we'll hear what Metricon offers to help keep our homes in tip-top shape for the future. To talk us through these last steps, we're joined by Wayne Henderson and Andrea Barnett. Wayne Henderson is a Building Support Manager for Metricon, and he's facilitated handovers for hundreds of Metricon customers over the years. Andrea Barnett is the Retail Product Manager for Victoria at Metricon, and she's incredibly passionate about all the products, fixtures and fittings that make up your new home. She's the perfect person to help us learn what we can do to keep our home feeling new for years to come.

In this episode, we're discussing all things construction. You'll hear about every step of the process, from base to frame, and lock-up to fixing. There's a lot that goes into the construction phase, but every part takes you one step closer to being in your new home. Listen out for some important information about how to actively communicate with the building team while construction is underway. We're joined once again by two Metricon experts to help answer our questions, Luke Fryer and Peter Temopoulos. Luke Fryer, who we heard from in episode one, is the Queensland General Manager at Metricon and is bringing his years of expertise back to the table to teach us about this stage of the build. Peter Temopoulos is the Victorian General Manager of Building and Operations at Metricon, and he is the pinnacle of knowledge when it comes to the construction process.

In today's episode, we're jumping into the fun part of building new; customising your home in Studio M. We'll be taking a deep dive into what your appointment at Studio M will involve, and some of the things you can do in advance to make the experience as stress-free as possible. Plus, we’ll hear a little bit about the behind-the-scenes work that's happening as we're waiting for the build to get underway. We're joined by Marissa Bonacci and Ellie Blight, who will help answer all of our questions about Studio M and the waiting process. Marissa Bonacci is the Victorian Studio M Manager at Metricon, and she knows the Studio M and design process inside and out. Ellie Blight is the Permits Manager for Victoria at Metricon, and she has all the answers about the steps between signing the contract and waiting for the build to start.
