April's Dammit Records Monthly Podcast 2025

In this episode, the conversation gets a bit deep. There is kind of a quiz but we fuck it up, oh dear! What’s the theme Emma?.. ‘Sex’ it seems. Marie crashes our podcast on a few occasions. Who is this Marie? Word pronounciations are also on the agenda. We have a laugh.. in more ways than one. We have our usual ‘News Time’ slot detailing some of our plans for December and the new year. All that with some great music from our collection, new and old.

It’s our 50th episode of the podcast! Did we think we’d ever get to 50? We feature one of the first tracks we received along with the most ever played, all time. Co-incidentally, it’s 50 years since 1976 and Emma tests our memories from back in the day and reminds us what the price of a pint of beer was... We have our usual ‘News Time’ slot, as well as some great music from our collection. Two grumpy old men doing their thing along with the rest of us… No, not Nick and John. Or is it? Play list: Les Madonnas Du Jeudi with Une Chanson De Haine, Rumours Of War with Gather Round, Hurting Germs with Boots In Basement, W.T.A F. with Sex Pest, Mona Freaka with Agitated, Looks Like Eve with Larry’s Got Pidgeons, Chipsum Gravy with Long Time Dead, The Garbage Gang with Wan, Awkland with Magnitude, Cream Soda with Someone I’m Not, Asthma Kids with The Attention Economy, The Del-Chronics with Left For Dead, Cato Street Conspiracy with Entitlement and Cato Street Conspiracy.

Yes there’s a drought but it’s raining cats and dogs in this episode with tracks taken from our latest Dam-Nations and from the archives. The theme this month is to play tracks from our featured bands that are not going to Rebellion. And we say why not?! In our ‘News Time’ slot the tumbleweed is saved by some exciting news for an album launch and we talk to some of the Italian Band Brenso. Some may say, ‘The Italian Job’. Anyway, who let the dogs out? Play list: A Murder Of Crows with Hangover from Mr Hyde, Nothing But Enemies with Live For Nothing , The Dead Line with Wasted Dreams, Mouser with The Rule Of Law, Julius Seizure with Sevastopol, Rabies Babies with I Fought The Floor (And The Floor Won), Awkland with MOD, Rocket 69 with Cocaine Boner Cassanova, The Voodoo Love Gods with I hate people, Mutiny with Suzanne, The Madonna And The Whore with Screens, Fluvster with Hippy Punk Skunk, +4 with Smafu, Cato Street Conspiracy with Got No Money.

In this packed episode, the theme is The Rebellion Festival and the Fringe venues. We tell you where you can see the bands that we have put out. It must mean that all three of us are unison in what we like, yes? Hmm, maybe not all of them. Lots of tracks played from our Dam-Nations and our mixtape for your listening pleasure. We have our ‘No News Time’ slot and we interview members of the band, Hurting Germs.

In this episode, the theme is to celebrate the end of our showcases for this year and share the beautiful music from the bands that played. Therefore we throw in a recipe of our latest releases and our mixtape tapes for your listening consumption. We have our regular ‘News Time’ slot and we interview members of Mutiny! Does Nick stay until the end this time? Are we just a label or a community? You decide.
