Working mothers are constantly told that the key to managing career and family is simple: find better work-life balance. But for many women, balance feels impossible and the pressure to achieve it often creates even more stress. In this episode, I sit down with physician and coach Dr Takisha Robinson, founder of The Mom Integration Playbook, to explore a different approach. Rather than trying to perfectly balance competing demands, Dr Robinson introduces the idea of integration, creating a life where motherhood, work, identity, and wellbeing support one another rather than constantly pulling you in different directions. Together we explore the hidden pressures modern working mothers face, the cultural expectations that drive exhaustion and guilt, and how women can begin to design a life that actually works for them. If you’ve ever felt like you’re failing at “having it all,” this conversation offers a powerful and refreshing perspective. Dr Takisha Robinson is a board-certified family physician, coach, and the creator of The Mom Integration Playbook. Through her work, she helps women move beyond the impossible pursuit of work-life balance and toward a more sustainable and empowering model of integration where motherhood, career, and wellbeing can coexist without constant conflict Find out more about Dr Takisha Robinson: Her website: https://www.drtakisharobinson.com Email her: [email protected] Check her out on Instagram: @themomintegrationplaybook You can find her book The Mom Integration Playbook™ (Digital Edition) and subscribe to her newsletter on her website: https://www.drtakisharobinson.com If you would like to connect with me, follow the links below: Find me on Instagram or Facebook: @charlottecoaches Find me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/charlottecoaches Check out my website: www.charlottehaggie.com If you would like to work with me to help you build your resilience so that you can ride the waves of life with calm, peace and confidence:

Uncertainty can trigger overthinking, anxiety and a desperate need for control, particularly when you’re used to being capable, organised and having a plan. In this episode, we talk about the sixth sign that your resilience is growing and it is that you can trust yourself in the inevitable uncertainty of life. We unpack why not knowing what happens next can feel so uncomfortable, how intolerance of uncertainty can lead to worrying, reassurance-seeking and trying to control outcomes, and why growing resilience means learning to trust yourself even when you don’t have all the answers. Find out how self-trust and emotional resilience can help you stay steady in uncertainty, take the next wise step and respond to whatever happens next without needing to predict or control it first. Resilience isn't something you're born with. It's a skillset you can build. ________________________________________________________________ For Individual Support Feeling frazzled, reactive, or unable to switch off? As a working mum with a demanding job and a home to run, do you find yourself overwhelmed and exhausted by the responsibility of keeping everyone happy, fixing problems and making sure everything gets done? In Sign #3 of 10 Signs Your Resilience Is Growing, we explore the difference between responsibility and over-responsibility and why driven, high-achieving, capable women can find themselves taking on far more responsibility than is truly theirs to hold. Discover how people pleasing, identity pressure and over-functioning can contribute to stress and exhaustion and how building emotional resilience and healthier boundaries can help you move towards cleaner responsibility: caring deeply without feeling responsible for fixing everything or everyone.
