If you believe you have a wicked or bad heart, then you will treat your heart—as well as the hearts of others—with suspicion, judgment, and contempt. But if you know your heart is good...well, that changes everything. In this second episode of the three-part series, John is joined by Fintan and Elaine Supple (therapists in Ireland and part of the Wild at Heart team) for a conversation on how the concept of the Good Heart plays out with God and with others in the chaos of daily life. _______________________________________________

Our stories borrow their shape from the Gospel story, and the Gospel story is rife with betrayal. In this world, all of us will experience some form of betrayal. Our ability to process and recover from it will define the health of our families, churches, communities, and hearts. John, Blaine, and Allen kick off this series by describing the three major forms of betrayal, how it differs from ordinary hurt, the erosion of the fabric of trust, and what to do when you're betrayed. When we pursue growth in our relationship with God and others, the expectation is life will get better—not harder. Yet greater maturity often comes with greater opposition. If we believe hard things are bad, then we'll assume either we're blowing it or God is holding out. That's not true. The answer isn't to make a peace treaty with what's coming against you to return to simpler, easier times. In this pivotal message, John and Allen unveil who Threshold Guardians are, what their strategy is, and how God invites us into greater intimacy with him in the challenges we face.

In this podcast, John and Allen answer viewer and listener questions on a wide variety of topics—from how concerned we should be over AI's unrelenting expansion and whether the unseen realm can influence AI, to what it means to be a modern Desert Father or Mother, whether people could choose to rebel in the coming Kingdom, if God cares where we go to church, what the Eclipse of God warfare is, and if miscarriage is ever God's will.
