Show Notes

Brawl Stars is making headlines today with a new community event in South Korea that blends mobile gaming with K-pop. According to Supercell’s announcement reported by Nate News, the three-week Weekly Brawldol project brings K-pop groups into the role of temporary community managers, giving players missions, milestones, and shared in-game rewards.

The first group involved is KickFlip, which began its event week on October 8. Players can work together on community goals connected to KickFlip’s new music video and unlock rewards as milestones are reached. The first week runs through October 14, while the full project continues until October 30. Supercell plans to introduce another idol group during the second week and a third group during the final week.

What makes this event interesting is its focus on cooperation rather than direct competition. Instead of asking players to defeat one another for every reward, the project encourages the entire Korean Brawl Stars community to contribute toward shared objectives. That approach reflects one of the biggest strengths of Brawl Stars: it can deliver quick competitive matches while also creating social events that bring different types of players together.

The connection with KickFlip has also created discussion beyond the game itself. Fans are talking about how gaming communities and K-pop fandoms overlap, especially when popular artists are already active players. The event gives listeners a fresh example of how Supercell is using local partnerships to make Brawl Stars feel more relevant in specific regions.

For everyday players, the main thing to watch is the mission schedule and the milestone rewards. The next community manager is expected to be revealed on October 15, with the second event running from October 16 through October 22. A final group will be announced on October 23 before the last challenge begins.

Brawl Stars also continues to attract attention from players focused on progression. Brawls Wiki reports that upgrading a brawler from Power Level 1 to Power Level 11 requires 7,765 coins and 3,740 power points under the standard upgrade system. That makes resource management an important topic for players deciding which brawlers deserve their investment.
