Sigma FP2, Who's it For? - The Random Photography Show

TJ Thorne joins us this week to talk about his journey. Growing up in rural Southwestern Pennsylvania, nature has always been a central part of his life. Now based in the Pacific Northwest, TJ combines his love of the outdoors with a passion for landscape photography. For TJ, photography is more than capturing beautiful images. It's a way to ground himself, quiet a busy mind, and find balance in an often overwhelming world. Looking through the viewfinder forces him to slow down, focus on the present, and connect deeply with his surroundings. Whether exploring moss-covered creeks or standing beneath waterfalls, photography provides a sense of clarity, calm, and purpose. Through his work, he captures fleeting moments in nature, reminding others of the importance of slowing down, being present, and appreciating the world around them. https://www.tjthornephotography.com/https://www.instagram.com/tjthorne_photography/https://www.facebook.com/tjthornephotography/

Dillon is the owner of Brunswick Darkroom, a community-focused analogue photography facility in Brunswick East, Melbourne. Interestingly, he also has a scientific career researching diabetes. The Brunswick Darkroom is a specialist analogue photography business in Brunswick East, Melbourne. It combines a professional darkroom facility with photography education, film processing, fine-art printing and recurring memberships. What makes it interesting commercially is that it's not simply a photographic lab. It's building an ecosystem around analogue photography, where customers can enter as beginners and develop their skills through workshops, gain access to professional equipment, and become part of a community of like-minded photographers. By combining hands-on experiences, specialist services and ongoing memberships, Brunswick Darkroom is helping preserve traditional photographic techniques while making analogue photography accessible to a new generation of photographers. https://www.instagram.com/brunswickdarkroomhttps://brunswickdarkroom.com.au/ ===========================================THE CAMERA LIFE - LIVE PHOTOGRAPHY PODCAST===========================================➡Blog: https://luckystraps.com/the-camera-life➡YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@the_camera_life ➡IG: https://www.instagram.com/the_camera_life_podcast➡Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/1dC4kPNrLORz2ASrukyOS5?si=18c6fd2534cf4d97➡Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/the-camera-life/id1760304677 ===================================================LUCKY STRAPS - THE BEST CAMERA STRAPS ON THE PLANET===================================================✅ Quick Release System✅ Anti-Theft, Cut-Resistant and Safety Lock✅ Super Comfortable Genuine Leather✅ Australian Made and Lifetime Guarantee a✅ Personalise with Your Name or Logo✅ Owned, Designed and Used by Working Photographers SHOP NOW https://luckystraps.com/(Use code for 15% off - Codes are JUSTIN JIM or GREG - Which host do you like the most?) ================CONNECT WITH US================Greg Cromie - Writer and Photographer➡IG: https://www.instagram.com/gcromie/➡Greg's Blog: https://gregcromie.blog/ Justin Castles - Photographer and Founder of Lucky Straps➡IG: https://www.instagram.com/justincastles Jim Aldersey - Wedding and Boudoir Photographer➡IG: https://www.instagram.com/jimaldersey/➡Wedding IG: https://www.instagram.com/weddingsbyjim_/===================================================
