Mark 1:1–13
When the world grows dark, advice isn’t enough—only genuinely good news will do. Before Jesus began His public ministry, God sent John the Baptizer into the wilderness to prepare the way for exactly that kind of news.
Pastor Chuck Swindoll walks through Mark 1:1–13, pausing at three defining moments: Jesus’ baptism, the Father’s voice of approval, and the temptation in the wilderness. Each one reveals the Servant’s identity and His readiness for ministry.
Take hold of the good news that the Son of God stepped into human history for you. He faced Satan’s worst and emerged victorious—on your behalf!
