Scooby-Doo has decades worth of legacy fans, and they're pretty upset with the HBO Max original Velma. And, while I love Mindy Kaling's writing in general, I can see their point - this show goes too far in a direction that is out of touch with the Mystery Gang's established IP.

Granted, I recorded this back when Disney and Pixar had just released Coco, but I think the thoughts in this are still good.
