"I find it fascinating that most people plan their vacations with better care than they plan their lives. Perhaps that is because escape is easier than change." --Jim Rohn
If you've followed the Sidetracked Sisters for a while or listened to some previous episodes of this podcast, you will know that we are all familiar with change. Although it may not be easy, it is something we can fight a losing battle with, or embrace and grow.
That is what we are doing with this podcast. You see, we've decided that this is the LAST episode of the Overcoming Writer's Block podcast. Beginning in 2024, the Sidetracked Sisters and I will be broadening the scope of our conversations to include a wide variety of entertaining, informative, and inspiring conversations and interviews. This will all take place here on the NEW Sidetracked Stories podcast.
So listen in to hear our thoughts about the upcoming third season--which begins next week!

More from Sidetracked Stories
In today’s conversation, Judy and I dive into the fashion fads that shaped us and how we view fashion today. From bellbottom jeans and go-go boots to conservative wear and big hair, our stories capture the essence of our past. But here's the kicker: writing these stories isn't just about preserving the past; it's about exploring what these memories reveal about us and how they shape our present lives. With curiosity and reflection, we uncover real gems about ourselves. And let me tell you, we're all in for this introspective journey!
In today’s conversation, Judy and I discuss the writings the Sidetracked Sisters did this week about "A Funny Memory of Childhood," and let me tell you, the stories were golden! Three of them were about our kids or grandkids, and only one was a personal trip down memory lane. We laughed a lot, reminiscing about these priceless moments. They were fantastic to capture on paper, but here's the kicker: writing these stories isn't just about preserving the past. It's also about digging deep to see what these memories reveal about us and how they still shape our lives today. With a bit of curiosity and reflection, we can uncover some real gems about ourselves. And let me tell you, we're all in for this introspective journey!
In today’s conversation, Judy and I discuss “Giving Yourself Permission”. I read somewhere that answering machines ask you two questions: 'Who are you and what do you want?' Most people live their lives without answering either. So, we have a challenge for you today... Give yourself permission to decide and create your answers!
