How Do You Store Up Treasure in Heaven?

How do you store up treasure in heaven? Matthew 6:19-24 (KJV): "Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt." Sermon on the Mount Pt 21, hosted by Matt Hepner.

Matt reads Matthew 6:19-21 and asks what it means to redirect the same drive once spent on earthly gain toward the kingdom. He shares losing everything twice. Then: "Set your affection on things above" (Colossians 3:1-2), the day of the Lord in 2 Peter 3, the institutional church vs the biblical church and the mustard seed, and the word that "endureth for ever" (1 Peter 1:22-25).

Also covered: the new heaven and new earth (Revelation 21:1-7), the rich fool and covetousness (Luke 12:15-21), faithful stewards, God's "peculiar treasure" (Exodus 19:3-6), a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9-11), the faith of Abraham, Noah and Moses (Hebrews 11), "Christ in you" (Colossians 1:25-27), "this treasure in earthen vessels" (2 Corinthians 4:1-7), and the rich young ruler (Matthew 19).
