In Matthew 10:16–42, Jesus prepares His apostles for the cost of following Him, warning them about rejection, persecution, division, and suffering while calling them to remain wise, innocent, courageous, and faithful. Sam and Will explore what it means to be “sheep in the midst of wolves,” how the Holy Spirit helps believers in difficult moments, why Jesus says not to fear those who can kill the body, and what “take up your cross” would have meant in the Roman world.
