The Worm's Eve: What If You Weren't Chosen?

A fourteen-year-old orphan, mocked for his vivid dreams of a medieval world and a prophecy, trembles by a stove as midnight approaches. He isn't afraid of the army of rotting corpses or the Worm; his deepest terror is that nothing will happen, and tomorrow will be just another ordinary day. What if the most terrifying thing about being chosen is the chance you were never chosen at all?

In this episode, we delve into Derrick Hawk's story, "The Worm's Eve," exploring a world where science and magic coexist, and a boy awaits a prophecy that promises to rid the land of the Worm. We uncover the intricate details of his dreams, the unique weapons of the Ivory Temple, and the profound fear that grips him as his deadline looms.
