Bishop Mar Mari - You Obeyed God, So Why Did Everything Fall Apart

A powerful message emphasizes the spiritual trials faced by believers who choose to live in obedience to God. The speaker warns that these challenges are not signs of abandonment but rather divine tests meant to strengthen faith and prepare individuals for greater purposes. The trials often manifest as loss, betrayal, and intensified struggles, which can lead to feelings of confusion and despair. However, the speaker reassures listeners that such hardships are part of a process that refines their character and deepens their reliance on God.

The discussion highlights the importance of recognizing the spiritual warfare at play when one commits to a holy life. The speaker urges believers to understand that their obedience makes them targets for spiritual attacks, as the enemy seeks to undermine their faith. This call to vigilance is accompanied by a reminder that true discipleship requires sacrifice and the willingness to endure suffering, much like the biblical figures who faced trials before fulfilling their destinies. Ultimately, the message encourages listeners to remain steadfast in their faith, trusting that their struggles will lead to spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with God.
