Tonight’s guest, Super Dave, had his first encounter when he was in the 5th grade, in the Saginaw Eddy Bottoms, in Arkansas. The day he had it, he had walked back to his favorite fishing hole. As he got close to the fishing hole, he heard some whoops, followed by footsteps that were following him. That unnerved him, but what happened to him when he reached his fishing hole, the intensity of his situation went through the roof. When he was approaching the fishing hole, he saw a Sasquatch standing knee-deep in the water. What happened to him that day traumatized Dave so much, he was terrified of the dark for years afterwards. Tonight’s guest, Arthur Wach, had his first Sasquatch sighting in 1977, when he was 13 years old. He was fishing on the Platte River near Gothenburg, Nebraska, with his dad and brother. Arthur’s dad was about 50 feet down the bank from him, and his brother was about 50 feet beyond their dad.
Tonight’s guest, Melanie, lives across the road from Croatan National Forest in North Carolina. One night, while walking her dog, she saw a mother mountain lion cross the road in front of her. That piqued her interest because she didn’t know mountain lions were in the area. The next day, she went out to look for tracks. Instead of finding mountain lion prints, however, she found tracks she believed had been left by something she never would have expected to find nearby—a Sasquatch.
Tonight’s guest, James Lady, grew up in the glacial moraines of southern Ohio before moving to Michigan in midlife. In mid-September of 2016, James headed into the woods of southern Ohio with one goal: to finally see a Sasquatch. On the seventh day, he got his wish.
Tonight’s guest, Kenny Allison, is a self-described avid outdoorsman who has been hunting and fishing for about as long as he can remember. The Sasquatch encounter he had in 1973, while he was laying in bed, didn’t frighten him out of the woods, but he thinks about Sasquatch almost any time he heads into the woods, to this day.
Tonight’s first guest, Mark Peak, had his first Sasquatch sighting in North Idaho, at the base of HooDoo Mountain. It happened one summer while he was out walking his dog. When Mark first spotted the Sasquatch, he thought he was looking at a man wearing a white sweatshirt, but it didn’t take long for him to realize just how wrong he was.
