Show Notes
Welcome back to another episode filled with interactive music games delightfulness. Rhythm, pitch and movement are going to occupy your next ten minutes so take out your hair and put in your teeth for Noodle Loaf! Sorry, I'm never sure what to write here. It says "episode description." Maybe I should be more specific? Ok, this episode will contain the following opportunities for creative expression:
✪ We begin with the Rhyme Time, a rhyming game that develops phonological awareness by asking you to find a rhyme for "marzipan." You got this Noodlinos!
✪ Next up, we're singing an Echo Song called We Share This Neighborhood. It is inspired by a board book by Dan Saks of the same name. What are some things you share in your neighborhood? A school? A waterfront? A bike share? Let me know!
✪ We wrap it up with a Time to Move in which a magic bubble has found its way into your body. Watch it travel through your body, causing your arms, legs, and feet to float around all beautiful like. You look magical.
We hope you enjoy our music and games for pre-k, kindergarten and all little kids! It's like a music lesson if your music teacher was named Dan.

Oh what fun we will have together in this episode. We've got movement, active listening, art, singing and lots...and...lots...of kazoo music.
It's that time of year again! It's also ALMOST that time of year again. Two great reasons to do some a cappella style vocal jamming using the names of different pasta shapes. What better way to learn the art of part singing? Here is more information about what musical fun for the whole family lies within this episode:
Noodle Loaf is excited to share a recent episode of the Kids Listen podcast Big Emotions: Kids Listen Mashups About Feelings featuring Noodle Loaf and our friends at Dr. Friendtastic and Power Dog Adventures. The episode is hosted by Abbe Opher & Kelly MacBride of Koala Kids. Each episode in the series gives you a taste of some other great kids shows to check out, and explore what it means to be human! "You can't beat that with a bat" - Black Sheep (a group that makes me feel joyful).
I hope you have your goofin' hat on because we are diving in the deep end of the joyous music giggle pool and we're gonna need hats? If you say so! Oh, yeah, also...Ziggy Marley is on this episode! He stopped by Noodle Loaf to help show how easy and fun it is to make up songs about just about anything, and tell us about his new book Pajammin'. We hope you like pajammin' too!
New Episode! New Book! Singing! Storytelling! Songwriting! Exclamation Points!!! This surprise episode drop is in celebration of Dan's new book, We Share This Earth. It's a rhyming book with beautiful illustrations featuring specific places around the globe and the people who live there. ✪ We begin with the Echo Song We Share This Earth that uses text from the book of the same name to bask in the warmth of our global community. The song is available as a single wherever streams get streamed. ✪ Next up, we write a story together during a game called You Make The Story. It's like Mad Libs in real time with a soundtrack and no pencils. ✪ We finish strong with a round of KaraYOUke. You get to combine your singing and your storytelling into a triumphant display of extemporaneous songwriting. KaraWHOke? KaraYOUke! We hope you enjoy our music and games for pre-k, kindergarten and all little kids! It's like a music lesson that happens whenever I write a new book. ✪✪✪ WE SHARE THE EARTH BOOK OUT NOW!: https://bookshop.org/a/9590/9780593658291 ✪✪✪ ✪✪✪ I have written three pictures books celebrating families. They make great gifts :) https://bookshop.org/lists/books-by-dan-saks ✪✪✪ WAYS TO SHOW NOODLE LOVE: ✪ SUBSCRIBE and/or LEAVE A REVIEW on Apple Podcasts or Spotify ✪ Get some Noodle Loaf gear at noodleloaf.threadless.com.
