Show Notes
In this opening episode of ‘The Fan of the Boss Podcast’ it’s just a little introduction on myself on how I became a fan of Bruce, the origins of my fanpage, my favourite shows that I have attended and a little bit more!
More from The Fan of The Boss Podcast
On this episode of the podcast, I discuss Barcelona 2002 with someone who was actually in attendance at the show, Emilio Cabanas. The Barcelona show happened 24 years ago this week and a brand new recording of the show was released of the show into the archive series on Nugs this month. We discuss the show as a whole, the dvd, the new mix on the new Nugs release and more. English is not Emilio’s first language so I really appreciate him coming on to talk about the show!
On this episode of my podcast, I have Rob and JB on from Springsteen Sings The Alphabet. Once I found out they were bringing back their podcast after a few years long hiatus, I thought they would be 2 great guests to have on, and after a few weeks of planning and scheduling, I was finally able to get them on. We have a great chat about how they know each other, how their podcast began, how they were introduced to Bruce and more, along with Tracks 2 and Electric Nebraska. I’m planning another episode with Rob and JB before Christmas, so stay tuned!
In this episode of the podcast, I recap the Power to the People Festival with my Bruce friend, Kyle C, who was in attendance at the festival with some mutual friends. I know Kyle through the Bruce Springsteen discord and I’ll attach a link to that below. We also have a brief discussion as to how Kyle got into Bruce and and talk about the two shows we attended together on the LOHAD American tour in Belmont & Philadelphia. At the end, I ask him the questionnaire.
On this episode of the podcast, I’ve a good buddy of mine on, Marcos Cabanas. We have known each other for a few years and we first met in person at Bruce’s show in Amsterdam in 2023, which we attended together, and we speak about that, how he got into Bruce (being a similar age to myself), along with the Madrid 2024 shows & The San Sebastián shows in 2025. Marcos is a musician himself, so we discuss that, and he has actually done some work with E Street Band members, which is very cool and we talk about that. Marcos came up with a fun idea for the podcast, which I will do with guests from now on, ask a questionnaire, similar to the Stephen Colbert Questionnaire that he used to do on his Late Show, so I ask him some fun/tough questions towards the end.
On this episode of the podcast, I’ve a friend of mine on who goes by the name of Lilbud.
