Show Notes
ANNOUNCEMENT: On Sunday the 15th and Monday the 16th, Friends at the Table going to be hosting ICEBREAKER, a two day fundraising marathon on Twitch to raise money for the Women's Foundation of Minnesota's Immigrant Rapid Response Fund! Read more here! Welcome to Media Club Plus: a podcast about diving into the media that interests us and the stories that excite us. This season we're watching a selection of M Night Shyamalan movies. This episode we watched Old, and next time we'll be back with our penultimate episode: Knock at the Cabin. You may have heard that Old is about the beach that makes you old. Well, it really is about that! You get to the beach, start getting old, and you don't stop until you die. Many people in live go through getting older, but few as fast as the folks they put on the beach, and all the normal stuff that happens when you get older happens there, and some abnormal stuff too. Featuring Keith Carberry (@KeithJCarberry), Sylvi Bullet (@SYLVIBULLET), Ali Acampora (@Ali-online), Arthur Martinez-Tebbel (@amtebbel) and Andrew Lee Swan (@Swandre3000) Produced by Keith Carberry Music by Jack de Quidt (available at notquitereal.bandcamp.com) Cover Art by by Annie Johnston-Glick (@dancynrew) anniejg.com I sort of wish we talked more about the camera and composition in this movie because it was particularly strong! Definitely check out the screenshots for this one! This episode was made with support from listeners like you!
