Show Notes
For Season 3, Episode 2, Artem of VÄIN WILD joins Gen X Joe as his special guest this vacation episode of the Youth Gone Mild Podcast.
Artem, lead vocalist and frontman of the UK-based glam hard rock band, sits down to talk all things VÄIN WILD — from the band's formation in late 2023 with guitarist Tizzy Wild, to their independently-built fanbase of over 60,000 across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
The conversation digs into the making of their March 2026 debut album, the four singles and music videos that came with it, and what's next after a UK tour and international dates booked for 2027 — plus the glam metal and hard rock influences (Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Guns N' Roses) that shape the VÄIN WILD sound.

For Season 3, Episode 17 of the Youth Gone Mild Podcast, host Gen X Joe has Adam Bernard as his guest. Bernard is a music journalist with 25 years of experience and a reputation for championing indie artists. In 2020 he wrote 'ChemBro: Embracing Beastmode to Beat Cancer', a memoir about being diagnosed with testicular cancer that had spread to a lung while he was training for his fifth-degree black belt in Kempo, which is remarkable. However, he and Gen X Joe discuss his latest book, 'One Hit Wondering: The Stories of 40 One Hit Wonders + Other Tales From The Crates', which was released July 21, 2026.
