Show Notes
Thursday 17th September 2026 – the most anticipated Invitation to Tender of all time was published by the BBC!
Yes, the future of Doctor Who is up for grabs – the BBC intend to award a contract to produce our favourite show for at least one series.
Join James, Phil and Brent as they get together to talk Time Lord Tenders in the greatest Doctor Who drama since The Reality War. Yes, they have pored over the 21 page document, and this is what they think…..
Enjoy!
More from The Doctor Who Podcast
What a weekend, courtesy of Mr Russell T. Davies and The Guardian! Join Ashley and Brent as the now former showrunner junks our recording schedule with an (incredibly interesting) interview promoting his memoires! Memoires, at 63?! Madness. Anyway Doctor Who features heavily in the extract published by the Guardian – great Who news for the Campervan to chew over. Along with coverage of the celebratory anniversary screening of The Satan Pit at cinemas across the globe, and the latest Thirteenth Doctor and Yaz story from Big Finish and Rochana Patel – that’s The Hallamshire Incident – what more could you possibly ask for?!
Join James and Phil as they hop into the Campervan to catch up on what’s happening (or what’s not happening) in the world of Doctor Who. Tender talk is rife throughout fandom, but what exactly IS going on with our favourite show?! Is anything actually happening? When will hear anything that promises new Doctor Who on our telly screens?
Welcome to the latest episode of The DWP Echo Chamber!!
Welcome to Episode 426 of the Doctor Who Podcast! Join Drew as we (finally) formally welcome Ashley to the DWP Campervan. And of course, they get stuck into irreverent Doctor Who geekery from the outset. For those of you that don’t know, Ashley has been providing the DWP with witty-ditties for the show, and songs for Big Finish stories The Echo Chamber – goodness knows how many he has composed to date, but it’s a lot!
