A pack of wolves has stopped entering one particular valley deep in the Rocky Mountains.
Not occasionally. Not because they've moved on.
They'll travel everywhere around it—but they refuse to cross the boundary.
When two wildlife biologists are sent into the valley to find out why, they discover something even stranger: the wolves aren't the only animals avoiding it.
No birds. No fish. No tracks.
Nothing seems to live there.
And there's a reason for that.
