#40 Taylor Conroy: Dating Younger Men, Sexual Energy, & Capricorns

Meant For This

Show Notes

Taylor Conroy is back and we are getting personal. Taylor has a pretty impressive resume. He’s an entrepreneur, business owner, has built hundreds of schools and homes around the world, he’s also a dad to my favorite little 3 year old, and is an all around amazing human. Nothing is off the table in this conversation. We make fun of ourselves, we share some recent dating adventures, and we discuss the things we both believe are necessary for a healthy relationship.

In this conversation, Taylor and I explore the shame many men carry around their sexuality, desires, and emotional world—and how that shame quietly shapes the way they show up in relationships and within themselves. We talk about where this shame comes from, why so many men suppress parts of who they are, and what becomes possible when they finally begin to face those parts with honesty instead of judgment. I hope this conversation offers a perspective that challenges assumptions and maybe helps you see yourself—or someone you love—a little differently.

In this episode, Taylor and I sit down for an unfiltered Q&A exploring the questions we get asked most often. We talk about desire, fear, relationships, self-trust, regret, and the choices that change the course of our lives. From why men are afraid of their desires to what it actually costs to choose yourself, we share our own experiences, perspectives, and the lessons we've learned along the way.

Emily and I first met 20 years ago when she began dating a childhood friend of mine. Since then, it feels like many lifetimes have passed—filled with change, growth, and profound transition—as she navigated life after her husband (and my childhood friend) passed.
