A Course in Miracles, Beyond the Body, Movie Session with Jenny Maria
A Course in Miracles with Jenny Maria, Barret & Awaken to Love 💕Show Notes
In this beautiful session, Jenny Maria and Barret De La Luz offer helpful commentary on two different YouTube videos: a touching documentary centered on care for animals and the planet, and a stand-up comedy skit that playfully questions the idea of “saving the planet.” Placed side by side, the contrast becomes an opportunity to question and release the concepts we still hold in the mind around these topics.
The session points to a deeper recognition—that there is nothing outside the mind, and no external problem to solve. What matters is the willingness to pass by all concepts and return to the still place in the mind where peace is already present.
The session concludes with an inspired reading from A Course in Miracles, Chapter 18, Section VI: Beyond the Body, bringing the focus back to what lies beyond perception and our mistaken beliefs about the body.
"Heaven is not a place nor a condition. It is merely an awareness of perfect Oneness, and the knowledge that there is nothing else; nothing outside this Oneness, and nothing else within." - ACIM

Tonight we’re watching the movie Ghost which inspired me to read Are “Psychic” Powers Desirable? from The Manual for Teachers of A Course in Miracles. It was a powerful teaching session that started with a lot of necessary clearing in the group, leading me first to read The Choice for Completion, which is an incredibly powerful section that can lead us straight into an experience - totally out of specialness!
Inspired by the teachings of A Course in Miracles (ACIM), this retreat session with Jenny Maria De La Luz explores the power of willingness, quieting the mind, and taking back projection. Through practical guidance and heartfelt interactions with participants, Jenny Maria shows how the ego keeps the mind seeking outside itself, while true peace is found by questioning our perceptions and opening to the Spirit's guidance. 💛
