In today’s episode of I’ve Got Guts!, we’re diving into the ripple effect…how one decision, one conversation, or one brave “what if?” moment can change the entire course of your healing journey. What started as two best friends talking about life with chronic illness has grown into a movement that’s touching lives around the world. In this heartfelt conversation, we open up about how this podcast sparked powerful new chapters in both our lives, from launching mindset courses for chronic illness warriors, to stepping into gastroparesis coaching alongside Crystal Saltrelli of Living Well with Gastroparesis. We’ll explore: ✨ How mindset shifts can help you move from fear to flow ✨ What it means to befriend your illness and find peace again ✨ The real-life ripple effects of saying “yes” to your own growth ✨ How your healing can inspire others…even when you don’t realize it If you’ve ever felt stuck, hopeless, or defined by your diagnosis, this episode is your reminder that healing is possible, and that your story has the power to create ripples of hope for others.

More from I've Got Guts!
We're BACK! But the women behind the microphones aren't the same ones who started I've Got Guts! three years ago. Life has thrown us some serious curveballs, and we're kicking off Season 3 with an honest, unfiltered conversation about everything that's changed. In this episode: Stef's triple-negative breast cancer journey, chemotherapy, and double mastectomy Lauren's experiences with family health crises, caregiving, and chronic illness The emotional toll of medical trauma and unexpected diagnoses How illness changes relationships, priorities, and perspectives What we've learned about strength, grief, and self-advocacy Same friendship. Same humor. Same guts. Just two very different women with a whole lot more to say.
It’s our last IGG Extra of the summer! ☀️ Lauren and Stef are catching up on everything that’s happened over the last two weeks, and there’s a LOT to talk about. Stef and Lauren are back with another I’ve Got Guts! Extra and, for once, Stef’s update is refreshingly uneventful. Since the last check-in, she’s managed to stay out of the hospital…a major win during cancer treatment, even if it doesn’t exactly make for riveting podcast content. Lauren also shares an important update from her family before the girls catch up on some of the lighter things getting them through life lately: what they’re reading, what they’re watching, and what’s worth adding to your own list. It’s a little cancer update, a little real life, and plenty of the usual Stef-and-Lauren banter.
We're back with another IGG Extra! In this episode, Lauren and Stef catch you up on everything that's happened over the past few days. Stef shares an honest update on life during chemo, including another unexpected hospital visit and how she's been navigating treatment. Lauren fills us in on her family's summer adventures and all the fun they've been packing into the season. We also chat about what we're currently reading, watching, and loving lately before wrapping up another candid conversation with friends. Thanks for spending some time with us, we're so grateful you're here!
In this week's IGG Extra, Stef and Lauren are catching everyone up on the last couple of weeks! They celebrate Stef's birthday, Lauren and Sean's anniversary, and Stef and Anthony's anniversary, while reflecting on finding joy in the little moments. They also chat about tapping into their creativity this summer...Lauren through writing healing notes and Stef through cooking on the Blackstone and beginning to write a book. Plus, they're sharing what they've been watching, reading, and loving lately. It's a fun, cozy catch-up filled with laughs, life updates, and a little inspiration along the way.
