1403 THE POLTERGEIST POLICE COULDN’T EXPLAIN: The Chilling St. Catharines Case of 1970
Richard Syrett's Strange PlanetShow Notes
In 1970, police officers were called to a bizarre disturbance in St. Catharines, Ontario, and reportedly witnessed phenomena they couldn’t explain. Psychology professor and paranormal investigator Peter Sacco joins Richard Syrett to reopen the case, separate evidence from legend, and ask the unsettling question: what if the haunting was real?
GUEST: Peter Andrew Sacco is a Canadian psychology professor, author, filmmaker and veteran paranormal investigator who brings an unusual perspective to the supernatural: he understands both the mysteries of the paranormal and the ways the human mind can deceive itself. He hosts the award-winning television series The Paranormal Profilers and created the film Niagara’s 13 Ghosts. His investigations have taken him deep into the haunted history of Ontario’s Niagara region, exploring apparitions, poltergeist activity, EVPs and locations marked by violence, tragedy and death.
