Rapport If you want to improve your ability to communicate effectively then it’s essential to learn about rapport.
Rapport is about eliminating the differences between you and the person you are communicating with, it’s about being the same. By adopting characteristics of another person you can create a sense of connection, a feeling of mutuality of like.
Wouldn’t it be fabulous to be able to create and break rapport as needed?
This podcast explains how to connect, create rapport.

NLP & Hypnosis Q&A: Anchoring on Zoom, Selling Without Objections, and What’s Next In this Facebook Live Q&A, Steve and Tina discuss rapid change in the world and share updates on their current NLP Practitioner training, upcoming Meta-Model work, and a Master Practitioner starting at the end of November. They answer questions on how to collapse anchors in a Zoom setting using visual and auditory cues, and compare virtual vs in-person work, including ideomotor responses, client comfort, flexibility, and fewer cancellations. They address persuasion and pricing objections, emphasizing that “five-star clients” should be filtered and pre-qualified before calls so money concerns are handled early. They explain how they structure coaching programs and payments, reflect on what excites them about their work, and describe using submodalities and future pacing in negotiation. They also recommend learning hypnosis through listening, reading (including Hammond’s book), voice craft, and music/binaural beats, and mention expanding content to YouTube/LinkedIn and promoting a free NLP Masters Summit. 00:00 Going Live and Catching Up 01:17 Practitioner Training Update 04:10 Master Practitioner Preview 06:48 Events and Community Updates 09:07 Q&A Collapsing Anchors on Zoom 22:35 Persuasion Pricing Objections 31:32 Packages Retainers and Payments 34:08 Prepayment Policies 35:59 Invoicing Made Easy 36:47 Best Part of Work 42:21 Impact and Compassion 47:02 Master Practitioner Mindset 51:01 Submodalities in Sales 56:23 Learning Hypnosis Resources 01:01:05 Voice Music and Trance 01:04:58 Wrap Up and Next Steps
Live Q&A: NLP Training Tasters, Zoom Inclusion, Stroke Recovery & Anxiety Tools A live-streamed Q&A features the host on holiday in Scotland with team member Tanya Bunting, who reports on Steve being in London with Paul McKenna and Alessandro Moira running a “Change Your Life in Seven Days” seminar and successfully including virtual Zoom attendees. They answer questions about marketing an NLP Practitioner course, recommending longer tasters than one hour, charging rather than offering free intros, tailoring content to the audience (especially businesspeople), and “over-delivering” to create customer astonishment. They discuss supporting stroke recovery with positive language and daily 7-11 breathing, troubleshooting when breathing “causes anxiety,” and addressing panic/fight-or-flight through regular practice. Other topics include working with children via storytelling and NLP techniques, exploring secondary gain in symptoms, being appropriately authoritative with clients, and handling dissociation and trauma, including concerns about reassociation, swish patterns, and timeline-style approaches. 00:00 Going Live Glitches 00:54 Scotland Update and Seminar Recap 02:27 Running Hybrid Zoom Rooms 04:50 Marketing NLP Tasters 10:20 Pricing Intros No Freebies 13:39 Overdeliver Customer Astonishment 16:24 Stroke Recovery Expectations 23:39 7-11 Breathing Anxiety Fixes 26:52 Panic Attacks Post Stroke Plan 33:36 Child Emetophobia Case 34:17 Secondary Gain Clues 36:10 Bug Phobia Holiday Story 39:20 Be Authoritative With Clients 41:12 Autistic Cambridge Aspirations 47:37 Storytelling Hidden Hypnosis 49:56 Trauma Dissociation Questions 55:10 Timeline Resource Exercise 56:20 Closing Chat And Farewell

Nested Loops, Edutainment & Scaling Your Practice (Plus Hypnotic Fertility Masterclass) Two hosts reconnect after technical issues, with Tina joining from Florida during an NLP trainers’ training with Richard Bandler and team, where participants are practicing nested loops and anchoring. They discuss how nested loops and metaphors embed learning, share examples from Eddie Izzard and Bandler’s teaching style, and suggest a future masterclass on the topic. Tina previews an upcoming masterclass on hypnotic fertility, sharing a past case and her strategy for supporting unexplained fertility and medical interventions, with dates to be confirmed around 22 September. They promote newsletters, trainings, the Secret Agents of Change membership (monthly skills and business sessions, recordings, CPD points), and an affiliate program opening 1 August. Q&A covers making presentations fun via “edutainment,” scaling with group coaching and clear economics, pricing without mind-reading demographics, managing incongruent client goals in affairs/addictions through deeper diagnostics, and approaches to parenting change work. 00:00 Tech Issues and Hello 00:54 Florida Weather and Air Con 01:46 Orlando Training Update 03:00 Nested Loops Explained 04:31 Bandler Stories and Learning 07:30 Next Masterclass Hypnotic Fertility 11:21 Newsletters and Membership Perks 14:56 Courses Retreats and Affiliates 19:25 Q1 Making Presentations Fun 29:41 Q2 Scaling Your Practice 32:56 Value Ladder Scaling 33:41 Group Offers That Worked 35:40 Pricing Maths Not Vanity 37:01 Charge For Value 41:50 Zoom Changes Marketing 44:25 Incongruent Client Goals 48:55 Deep Diagnostics First 56:34 Parenting Change Work 01:03:57 Therapist Ethics Boundaries 01:09:20 Closing Plans Goodbye
