Golda Rosheuvel graces the screen as Queen Charlotte in Bridgerton. Golda's journey began in Guyana, South America, where, as a young child, she and her parents were forced to relocate to the UK during a harsh winter. Before rising to fame, Golda pursued a career as an athlete, excelling in various sports like athletics and swimming, and even training for the Olympic decathlon.
However a sudden injury led her down a completely different path. In this episode of Origins with Cush Jumbo, Golda opens up about discovering her sexuality while at drama school and her deep passion for acting. Finally, she reflects on the life-changing impact of her role in Bridgerton.
