Dallas Cowboys BLOW CHANCE to Save Season in EMBARRASSING LOSS to Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Locked On NFL – Daily Podcast On The National Football LeagueShow Notes
We saw a huge missed opportunity by the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night as they dropped a home game to the banged up Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Cowboys looked like they had a chance to take a step forward this season and clearly that is not happening. The San Francisco 49ers offense has had trouble in the past with the Seattle Seahawks defense, but with Brock Purdy rolling it may be enough to finally get the job done. The Los Angeles Rams haven't starter the season as they hoped and now they have to host the Buffalo Bills fresh off a frustrating loss. Some matchups in Week 5 are going to have a big impact on the early separation in this league, like the Indianapolis Colts against the Pittsburgh Steelers, with two teams looking to be taken serious. The Denver Broncos are looking to be taken more serious on offense as Sean Payton is taking back play-calling duties. In Houston, Demeco Ryans is taking back play-calling duties on defense from Matt Burke. Will both teams respond?

We look at the latest Week 7 storylines around the NFL.
Lamar Jackson’s injury status throws the AFC North playoff race into chaos. Will the Baltimore Ravens regain dominance with Jackson’s return, or can the surging Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals capitalize?
The Chicago Bears and New England Patriots got things on track in recent weeks as both are coming off a win, but neither team has had a perfect season. Now they will face off with not only team goals in mind, but a chance to see who is ahead in the race to be the top quarterback of the 2024 NFL Draft class. The Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints face off in Paris, France and while the game is key, the safety of the team will also be something there will be concern about. There are some massive divisional games this week like the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens, but without Lamar Jackson potentially, it could lose it's sauce. The Green Bay Packers face the Detroit Lions with the NFC North wide open. There are three teams still undefeated with the Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings, but who is most likely to lose this week? Tyler and Michelle do not agree!
AJ Brown and Dexter Lawrence headline the biggest trades of the NFL offseason—are their new teams reaping the rewards, or facing buyer’s remorse?
The San Francisco 49ers moved to 6-0 on the season after their win on Monday Night Football and with the closest competitor at 3-3 in the NFC West, Brock Purdy's crew has somewhat shut the door on the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams. In the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs remain undefeated off a bye and have a great shot to keep their momentum rolling. In the NFC North, the Minnesota Vikings come off a bye also still undefeated, but with the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears surging, the Vikings lead isn't safe. Finally, in the AFC North, the surprise Cleveland Browns lead the division, but with everyone sitting with only two losses, the lead is far from safe.
