Show Notes

Want to increase your vocal range, clarify your tone, and unlock more confidence in your singing voice—even on high notes? In this practical episode, I’m sharing one of my favorite diction tricks from years of classical and operatic training. This will help you improve your vocal resonance, find more volume in your singing voice, and make your high notes feel easier - just by adjust when you sing consonants in a word. You’ll discover:

How certain consonants could be stealing your sound Why vowels carry your singing voice and how to lean into them even more How to navigate high notes on tricky words

We’ll even apply this technique together as we sing “Happy Birthday”! Whether your singing with your kids in the car, or practicing at home for your next performance, this episode will help you have a quick win to get you singing better. Let’s go!Blessings,Sarah 🌟

Have you been wondering, Is something wrong with my voice?

If your voice feels tired, unsupported, or strained—especially after singing or even just talking for a short time—you’re not alone. Many moms are faithfully doing pelvic floor exercises and still feel disconnected from real vocal support. In this episode, I want to gently shift the focus away from “trying harder” and toward something that often gets overlooked: alignment. When your body is aligned, your pelvic floor and breath can actually work together the way they were designed to. I’ll walk you through a simple, restful floor position using the wall and a few pillows that helps reset your ribcage, diaphragm, and pelvic floor. This isn’t about effort or force—it’s about giving your body the space it needs so you can finally feel pelvic floor engagement. If you’re a tired mama, postpartum singer, or feeling frustrated with vocal fatigue, this gentle practice can bring more ease, support, and confidence back into your voice in just a few minutes a day.

As a mom, it’s easy to feel discouraged about your singing—especially if your voice doesn’t feel the way it used to, you don’t have time to practice, or lessons feel out of reach. If you can relate, then I invite you into a perspective shift that will help you sing more this year. Instead of focusing on insecurities or limitations, you’ll be encouraged to see singing as a tool for joy, service, connection, and passing something meaningful on to others.
