Space Patrol: “The Galaxy Trade Association” (episode 96) originally aired on July 31, 1954. In this ABC adventure, Commander Buzz Corry and Cadet Happy are played by Ed Kemmer and Lyn Osborn.
A newly developed star-drive ship carries Buzz and Happy on a test flight toward Vega, 26 light-years from the Solar System. Their journey brings them face to face with the Galaxy Trade Association, an interstellar commercial power whose interest in the Solar System raises troubling questions. Written by Lou Huston, this 30th-century adventure originally aired in Space Patrol’s Saturday-morning slot.
