The Wine O'Clock Woman

Show Notes

Divorce can leave you grieving far more than a relationship. It can shake your identity, your confidence and the future you thought you were going to have. In this conversation, I’m joined by Sara Stansberry to talk about what happens when life changes completely, why we reach for things to numb the pain, and how you begin finding yourself and building a life that genuinely feels like yours again.

Meet Sara: Sara Stansberry is a writer, storyteller, and podcast host behind How to Blow Up Your Life, a brand where she shares essays and episodes about creative destruction, the joy of self-reclamation, the resilience of the human spirit, and the power of living authentically.

Her writing is for anyone who understands the slow burn of becoming disconnected from their dreams, their voice, and their desires—and the messy, but transformative path back to wholeness and self-love.

Now, as a certified life coach, she guides others toward finding their true selves, blending personal stories with professional expertise. Sara lives in New York City with her new husband, Walter. They have a combined six(!) kids, and their seventh child, Shasta the Goldendoodle. Walter and Sara’s story of cultivating healthy love the second time around was included in the inaugural cast of LoveNotes!, an Off-Broadway production at The Center At West Park Theater.

Sara was chosen for multiple casts of Generation Women’s show, representing Team 50s and the Best of Show, all held at the iconic Joe’s Pub in New York City. Sara’s first book, How to Blow Up Your Life in Three Simple Steps, is in production and will be released in Q1 2027.
