In this episode of The Brink, Andrew and Jake are joined by British Muslim activist and counter-extremism campaigner Fiyaz Mughal for a live discussion at the Battle of Ideas in London about the growing threat of Islamism in Britain. Drawing on over two decades of experience tackling extremism, Fiyaz warns that the Muslim Brotherhood and radical Islamist ideologies have gained influence within British Muslim communities, while successive governments have failed to confront the problem.

The conversation explores rising antisemitism after October 7th, the influence of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and why Fiyaz believes political leaders are allowing extremists to silence moderate Muslim voices. They also discuss integration, free speech, and whether Britain can confront Islamist extremism before another major terrorist attack.
