In Matthew’s gospel, every moment of chaos is followed by a powerful reminder: “This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken.” Nothing was random. Nothing caught God off guard. Every step had already been spoken about by the prophets, centuries before it happened. God had a plan from the very beginning. The child would be called out of Egypt. The mothers of Bethlehem would grieve, just as Rachel once did. A boy would grow up in a place no one respected, and that very place would carry the meaning of hope. Even Nazareth pointed to God’s promise of a branch that would bring life again. Jesus’ life was deeply connected to God’s story. And so is yours.

The first person the Bible says God filled with his Spirit was a builder, so the anointing belongs on the building site, in the boardroom and in the supermarket queue too.
Of everything the disciples saw Jesus do, the one thing they asked him to teach them was how to pray. Kath walks through how Jesus answered them. Start by calling God Father, because we get to come to him as his kids. Ask for his kingdom to come into the places we live and work. Keep praying when life is hard. And know that Jesus is praying for us right now, so when we pray, we're joining in with what he's already praying.
You are born for fruit, but you do not have to strain, panic, or perform to reach your destiny. Only Father God is the Vinedresser. He knows exactly what he is doing with the shears. He cuts to bring life, and He never prunes a branch to destroy it. Your only real job is to drop the performance, remain connected to the Vine, and trust His loving hands.
What did the resurrection actually did to Satan's authority? When Jesus walked out of the tomb, he disarmed the enemy. It is like grabbing a poisonous snake and pulling the fangs out, or taking the batteries out of a remote control. The enemy is still around, and he is definitely still angry, but his actual ability to destroy you is gone. All he really has left to use against us is accusation, lies, and fear. The decisive battle is already won. The enemy knows his time is short, so he is just trying to take as many people down with him as he can before it is over. This message is a really practical reminder that we do not have to fight a war that is already over. We just need to stay close to the Lord, stay close to our community, and live like people who know exactly who has already won.
God is not planning to make all new things. He promised to make all things new. In this message, Andrea explores the heavy, beautiful challenge of our bodily resurrection. Our lives are just like a tiny acorn planted in the dirt. The seed and the towering oak tree are wildly different, but they are intrinsically linked. Because our present reality is tied directly to our eternal one, how we live today carries immense weight. Every act of healing, beauty, and love is an active piece of God's eternal restoration project. Listen as Andrea invites us to let Jesus mess with our priorities, showing us how to access the renewing power of the resurrection day by day.
