The Sandwich Club Ep 11 - Money Money Money

The Sandwich Club

Show Notes

Money has a funny way of getting louder as we get older. In this episode, we're talking about retirement worries, second jobs, side hustles, budgeting, and the strange things we're willing to spend money on while telling ourselves we need to cut back. We're also exploring whether AI can help us get our finances under control—or whether it's just another thing we're paying for. Most of us thought we'd feel more financially sorted by now. Instead, we're still making it up as we go, just with bigger numbers and slightly more expensive mistakes.

The Sandwich Club is for women in the middle — juggling kids, parents, work, money, bodies and everything in between.

Dylan Thomas told us not to "go gentle into that good night", but then he wasn't dealing with dodgy knees, reading glasses and getting up twice in the night. This week we are borrowing his famous poem to talk about ageing.
