Part 1: Spurs Smashed, Birmingham Whooped, Pinnock Farewell, Diouf In | Brentford v Leeds Preview Podcast

A bumper two-part podcast this week as Billy TheBee Grant, Dave “Laney” Lane and Sherlock Holmes are back with loads to get stuck into after a massive few days for the Bees.

Brentford smashed Spurs and then put six past Birmingham City - so there's plenty to talk about

We kick off talking transfer window and new signing El Hadji Malick Diouf, who arrives from West Ham. We look at his strengths, weaknesses and what he could bring to the side - and ask the big question: does he go straight into the team?

Then there's Ethan Pinnock's departure to Coventry. We all knew the moment was probably coming, but that didn't make it any easier when it finally arrived. We look back at the career of a proper Brentford legend and what he has meant to the club

There's also money coming back into the Brentford coffers from two players who left us some years ago - Ezri Konsa and Ollie Watkins. We look at the latest deals and how Brentford could benefit financially from their subsequent moves

Billy also chats about his latest appearance on The Overlap with Jamie Carragher and Les Ferdinand - with both pundits and fans once again hugely positive about Brentford and what the Bees might be capable of this season

We rewind to the Spurs game, getting the thoughts of both Bees and Spurs fans straight after the final whistle

The Gowler from Bees Breakdown (beesbreakdown.substack.com ) delivers the statistical and tactical lowdown on the Spurs match - breaking down exactly what worked for Brentford

Then onto Birmingham and that 6-1 whooping. We hear from Bees and Blues fans about another emphatic Brentford performance, before Jonathan JB Burchill brings us his usual brilliant mixture of facts and a little bit of funk

And this is just PART ONE of this week's Beesotted podcast

Part Two will be available shortly on PrideOfWest.London
