Body Language: How to understand non verbal cues like a PRO so you feel more confident speaking
The Self-Led LeaderShow Notes
Ever finish a conversation thinking something about it was just a little off, but you couldn't quite put your finger on it? That's likely because you were picking up on the other person's non-verbal cues that didn't match what they said to you. Non-verbal cues matter more than your words do - before they happen ALL THE TIME, without you even realizing. But there is a difference between picking up on others' cues and learning to be mindful of your own. When you learn to understand what your own body cues are saying to others, this will help you convey the right message to the person you're speaking with - the message you actually intend to make. This is SO important, especially as a leader or founder, who carries more authority and responsibility in the business.
Today's episode is actually from the non-verbal cues module from my Intentional Communication Mastery course, designed specifically to help you communicate with more confidence using psychology and behavioural science. The full course is now part of my community, Club Coherence (you can join today for one low monthly fee and cancel anytime) at https://club-coherence.mn.co

In this video, I am covering what each of the six components of gravitas means, using Sylvia Ann Hewlett's framework. Using psychology and social perception, you'll learn what each component means, how it shows up in leadership, and what behaviors you need to start doing to demonstrate that you have gravitas, too. --Get The Gravitas Guide:www.christinaaidy.com/gravitasguide --Take the free presence quiz & find out what impression you're already making:www.christinaaidy.com/quiz --Get the executive presence workshop so you have a custom 14-day roadmap to start showing up with more confidence & better presence:www.christinaaidy.com/executivepresenceworkshop
