Show Notes

You don't get to clean up if you don't make a mess. So go make a mess and then sing along with our clean up song for kids. That's an order! PLUS we'll use our ears to name mystery sounds and use our mouths to make rhymes. It's a full face work out for families you don't want to miss. Name That Sound - First up, a listening activity for kids about writing. Listening about writing...is that like dancing about architecture? I dunno, but I do know that it is a great way to develop aural awareness in kids. ✪ Echo Song - Cleaning So Clean - Our repeat after me song about clean up time will you have you and your kids whistling all the way to the dust bank. That doesn't make sense. Anyhow, it will make cleaning more fun. And it will also develop a sense of pitch in children, and whimsy too. ✪ Rhyme Time - A rhyming game for kids set to a funky beat! Not only will children develop their phonological awareness without having to learn the word phonological, but they may also learn to rap. This rhyme game is a favorite of parents probably because they get to show off all the big words they know. ✪ We hope you enjoy our music and games for preschoolers, kindergarteners and early elementary age kids! It's like a music lesson for your commute to school. ✪✪✪ FAMILIES BELONG - the new board book from Dan Saks available from Penguin Random House ✪✪✪ https://bit.ly/familiesbelongbook WAYS TO SHOW NOODLE LOVE: ✪ Join our Patreon for a show shout out and a handwritten letter! www.patreon.com/noodleloaf ✪ SUBSCRIBE and/or LEAVE A REVIEW on Apple Podcasts ✪ Get some Noodle Loaf gear at noodleloaf.threadless.com. ✪ Want to add your voice to the Noodle Loaf choir? It's that time of year again! It's also ALMOST that time of year again. Two great reasons to do some a cappella style vocal jamming using the names of different pasta shapes. What better way to learn the art of part singing? Here is more information about what musical fun for the whole family lies within this episode:

Noodle Loaf is excited to share a recent episode of the Kids Listen podcast Big Emotions: Kids Listen Mashups About Feelings featuring Noodle Loaf and our friends at Dr. Friendtastic and Power Dog Adventures. The episode is hosted by Abbe Opher & Kelly MacBride of Koala Kids. Each episode in the series gives you a taste of some other great kids shows to check out, and explore what it means to be human! "You can't beat that with a bat" - Black Sheep (a group that makes me feel joyful).

I hope you have your goofin' hat on because we are diving in the deep end of the joyous music giggle pool and we're gonna need hats? If you say so! Oh, yeah, also...Ziggy Marley is on this episode! He stopped by Noodle Loaf to help show how easy and fun it is to make up songs about just about anything, and tell us about his new book Pajammin'. We hope you like pajammin' too!
