The release of Oh Beautiful in June 2025 marked the beginning of a new creative era for Val Moogz, launching a series of singles showcasing their evolving sound and growing depth as a songwriter.

In October 2025, they released Ride Round the Sun, accompanied by live audio and video captured at Four Winds in Bermagui, NSW. The track was the first instalment in a four-part EP waterfall release and was launched alongside their Wanderer Festival performance. Earlier singles “Gypsy”, “The Sea” and “With You” have been supported by local radio and independent touring, including a 2022 Australian East Coast launch tour and North Coast runs in 2023 and 2024.

Val Moogz began performing as a teenager in Sydney under their birth name, Hannah Matysek. A graduate of the Talent Development Project, they’ve recorded with Sony Music and shared stages with some of Australia’s most respected artists. With a growing catalogue and strong live credentials, Val Moogz is emerging as a compelling voice in Australia’s contemporary folk, soul and indie rock landscape. Hosted on Acast.
