There is a type of entity that we have come across many times over the last 3 years. And if you watch any kind of paranormal content even outside of this podcast, then I have no doubt that you’ve heard of it too. Shadow figures. These entities present themselves as darker than night, a mere shadow with eyes walking freely and bringing feelings of fear or anxiety in their wake. There are many theories as to what they could be: inter-dimensional beings, a physical manifestation of negativity and fear, demons… Today we’ll be telling stories of these beings from our listeners. It’s a truly frightening set of tales so grab your tea, your blanket, and maybe even your nightlight and we’ll get started.

While walking the aisles of an antique store or resale shop, I often think about the people who owned all of this stuff before it found itself here. You know, normal questions like: Who did it come from? What were they like? Are they still alive? Was their house haunted? Did they participate in any dark rituals that may have bound a demonic entity or disgruntled spirit to these items? Even though we may never know the answers to these questions, some of our listeners have encountered a ghost or two inside a thrift store or attached to an item they felt drawn to bring home and those are the stories we’ll be telling you in this episode! Get your coziest blanket, your warm mug of tea, and settle in with one eye on that antique piece of furniture you have sitting there in your room with you as we tell stories of haunted thrift stores, a pair of pants with a ghostly attachment, and a doll possessed by the spirit of its previous owner!

I feel like attempting to contact the spirits of the dead at least once is like a rite of passage for all who would have put themselves in the category of ‘spooky.’ And just as we’ve said so many times on this podcast, you never know what’s waiting for you in the darkness when you’re reaching out. Today, I’ve brought you several stories from our listeners who took a chance with a ouija board and made contact with something much darker than they intended!
