Hello fellow Dirtbirds and welcome to season 2 of KUWTDB!
This new season of the pod is summed up best in six words - ‘real women, real issues, real funny’. And while Sue and Sinead may be experts in making strangers laugh, they have zero qualifications or expertise in any other area of their lives. Which is why for their first episode of this new series, they decided to speak to someone who actually knows what they’re talking about. Psychotherapist and co-host of Tough Love podcast, Stephanie Regan visited Dirtbird HQ to talk all about relationships and to give Sue and Sinead (and you the listeners) some much valued advice.
During the chat, Stephanie talked about the importance of paying your partner compliments, the realities of scheduling sex and how to keep the connection going with your significant other. Sue and Sinead also share their tales of what causes tension in their own marriage, competing over who does the most housework in their relationships and why there had been no sex since 1983. Oh and, Sinead recalls the epic Battle Of The Birdfeeder she had with her husband (spoiler alert: Sinead won - score!).

In our final episode this season, we spoke to playwright, Elaine Murphy Elaine has won awards for her incredible writing and had her words read on the Abbey Theatre stage. Not only that, she is also Sinead’s next door neighbour - Elaine pinches herself every day.
This week, we are so excited to talk to actor turned author, Lisa Harding! Lisa shared what it was like to completely change her career later in life, body image and her love of shaking it all off and dancing. Plus Sue and Sinead talk about how you can spot an Irish person on a beach a mile off and Sue shares what happened the time she bought the same swimsuit as her teenage daughter…Did she make an arse of herself? You’ll just have to listen to find out!
This week we're talking all about parenting back in the day versus now.
