Show Notes
For years now, Pod Stallions fans have been wondering what makes its enigma-like hosts tick: what are their loves? Hates? Favorites? Secret crushes? Where do they go when they cry? Did they really nearly come to blows with two other podcast hosts debating the best Phantom, Paradise or Opera? Well, some of those and many more burning questions will be answered in the new Ep, as this one's been formatted by the fans! Questions submitted, answers given. So wade in, as the curtain is pulled back to reveal Brian and Jason at their most naked (metaphorically, obviously), in Pod Stallions' Group Free For All!

Download the Show here It's October, and the witching weather is slowly upon us. Or it could be the wind whipping up from Outpost 31 in Antarctica as we're about to celebrate one of the seminal horror/sci-fi films of our lifetimes: John Carpenter's 'The Thing' (1982). There's not much more to say about the brilliance of Carpenter's masterpiece (to us, anyway), but in the spirit of creepy and spooky, we thought it was well past time to show it some love. It's also one of those movies that's synonymous with VHS rentals, and if you're like us, you rented it repeatedly to study all its nooks and crannies. We STILL do to this day: it has story, chills, great acting and characters, and the most extraordinary physical effects of its time, but there's still a little nugget or two to catch the first time. We even give some time to the ill-fated 2011 'prequel' Thing, and suggest a back-to-back viewing to enhance the original even more. It's never a bad time to throw on The Thing, but October belongs to fright, so no time like the present. Enjoy! And be sure to leave comments about who YOU think is The Thing in the closing credits!
