Show Notes
Welcome to Lady Bites, a short and sweet podcast hosted by three female doctors passionate about Women’s Health.
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, and at 7pm on October 15th, candles, monuments, landmarks, and buildings around the world will be lit in memory of babies lost. In recognition of this, we continue our discussion on the often misunderstood topic of miscarriage.
In the second of two episodes, we focus on the emotional and psychological impact of pregnancy loss, including the grieving process, available support systems, and the journey of pregnancy after miscarriage. We’ll also cover the management of miscarriage from a medical point of view, discussing treatment options and next steps. This is a topic that is rarely spoken about, leaving many feeling isolated in their pain. Our goal is to provide comfort, understanding, and to remind you that you're not alone.
