THE PROPHECY NEWS PODCAST: Donald Trump Rebrands AI By Launching The Super Intelligence Accord
NTEB BIBLE RADIO: Rightly DividingShow Notes
First the Abraham Accords, now the White House Accord on Super Intelligence. Different agreements with different purposes, presented through a familiar ceremony of powerful men gather around Donald Trump and announce their dark vision for a ‘better future’. Better for whom? The six industry signers were Elon Musk of xAI, Jensen Huang of Nvidia, Mark Zuckerberg of Meta, Sundar Pichai of Google, Greg Brockman of OpenAI, and Dario Amodei of Anthropic. The wider luncheon brought in Jeff Bezos of Amazon, Satya Nadella of Microsoft, Lisa Su of AMD, and Alex Karp of Palantir. This was a remarkable concentration of influence over the technologies increasingly shaping what people see, how businesses operate and how governments process information. You might say it’s control, and lots of it.
“And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.” Genesis 11:4 (KJB)
The published lineup also included Shyam Sankar of Palantir, Hock Tan of Broadcom, Sanjay Mehrotra of Micron, Nikesh Arora of Palo Alto Networks, Bill McDermott of ServiceNow, Tom Brown of Anthropic, David Sacks of Craft Ventures, Chamath Palihapitiya of Social Capital, and Brandon Rahbar Daniels of Exiger, along with Brad Gerstner of Altimeter. Consider the reach represented by that gathering. AI development, computer chips, cloud services, cybersecurity, government data systems and investment capital. The accord promises internal controls, external evaluation and board oversight. Its measures are voluntary, with possible future incorporation into laws or regulations. The companies building the technology are helping shape the framework under which the public will be asked to trust it. Who verifies that trust is deserved—and who can intervene when the promises fail? When they fail?

There is something almost surreal taking place in the world this morning. After months of relentless warfare in the Middle East, economic upheaval, political chaos and increasingly frightening international headlines, we appear to have entered what can best be described as the eye of the hurricane. The end times hurricane. We have reached that strange, deceptive moment when the winds temporarily subside, the skies seem to clear, and everything becomes eerily quiet. But anyone who has ever lived through a major hurricane, and here in Florida we’ve lived through a bunch of them, knows that the eye is not the end of the storm. It is the brief interval between the devastation you have already experienced and the devastation that’s still coming. The most dangerous thing you can do while standing in the eye of a hurricane is convince yourself that the storm is over. I’m here to tell you it’s not, not by a long shot.
Something very strange is happening on the campaign trail as President Donald Trump crisscrosses America desperately trying to rescue Republican control of Congress in the upcoming midterm elections. With his approval ratings collapsing, the Iran war dragging on, and the American people increasingly frustrated by an economy that looks nothing like the promised Golden Age, the president has suddenly become fascinated with describing other men’s bodies, particularly Senator Jon Husted’s muscular backside, shoulders, legs and feet. Then there’s his continuing celebration of the Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.,” which he calls the “gay national anthem,” while telling audiences how much Melania hates watching him dance to it. But what if these increasingly bizarre performances are not simply Trump losing control of the narrative? What if they are helping him deliberately change it? Former Trump strategist Steve Bannon famously described a political technique called “flood the zone,” overwhelming the news media with a nonstop barrage of distractions and controversies until the important stories get buried beneath the spectacle. Pay no attention to that man behind the golden curtain.
The world is becoming accustomed to things that should be shaking it wide awake. Israel has raised its military readiness as violence continues in Gaza and the West Bank, while the confrontation with Hezbollah remains unresolved beneath Lebanon’s fragile ceasefire. Saudi Arabia is struggling to defend its airports and infrastructure against Houthi missiles and drones. Today, a Houthi missile attack reportedly killed at least 20 government troops in Yemen. Meanwhile, the confrontation in the Strait of Hormuz continues threatening the movement of oil through one of the world’s most important shipping routes. These conflicts reach far beyond the people directly under fire: disrupted supplies and higher prices carry their consequences into households thousands of miles away.

Watching Tesla’s new Roadster climb a ramp upside down, rotate in midair and land on its wheels feels like watching science fiction step off the movie screen. The demonstration is astonishing, and when you place it alongside AI’s growing ability to interpret information, plan tasks and operate machinery, the implications reach far beyond a new sports car. We are watching technologies converge that could reshape how people work, travel, communicate and make decisions. This is a vivid illustration of a world experiencing an extraordinary increase in knowledge. “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Yet increased knowledge brings an ancient question roaring back into view: what happens when mankind’s growing abilities only serve its pride, and not the God that gave those talents? At Babel, human ingenuity became an instrument of collective self-exaltation to the point where the LORD stepped in to stop it. In the time that’s coming, He’s gonna just let it go and play out for 7 glorious, terrible years.
