Parenthood

Are we putting our health last? with Elme Health; Sarah Horton & Dr. Michela Sorensen

Parenthood

Show Notes

When was the last time you put your own health first?

This week on Parenthood, I am joined by Dr Michaela and Sarah, co-founders of Elme Health, for an honest conversation about preventative healthcare and why we shouldn't wait until something goes wrong.

From Michaela's cancer diagnosis as a mum of two young children to Sarah's experience watching her mother live with multiple sclerosis, they share the personal stories behind their mission to change how we approach our health.

We explore early detection, the importance of listening to your body and why prioritising your health isn't selfish, especially when you're a busy parent.
