The Season Is Back - From Relegation Favourites To European Tour? | Brentford v Tottenham Preview Podcast

Full house in the studio as Beesotted goes head-to-head with Bees Breakdown ahead of the trip to Tottenham - Billy TheBee Grant, Laney, The Allard and The Gowler all in the hot seat

What a difference 12 months makes

Last season, the pundits were almost universally tipping Brentford for relegation. This time around, they seem almost scared to put us anywhere near the bottom three. But where exactly have they predicted Brentford will finish?

We look back at an action-packed pre-season, with some input from Jonathan JB Burchill bringing us plenty of friendlies facts and a little bit of funk

Then it's time for the big new season feelings section - Premier League predictions, who finishes in the top four, who gets relegated and how do the crew see the season playing out for Brentford?

You can check Billy’s preview in The Guardian right here https://www.theguardian.com/football/2026/aug/16/premier-league-fans-previews-our-club-by-club-guide-to-2026-27

and Sherlock wrote an article here on Brentford’s sixth season syndrome

Meanwhile, ahead of Saturday's big game, we're looking to create a huge atmosphere around Spurs

There'll be plenty going on before kick-off, including the Beesotted walk from Kew to the ground and a special display before the match. Fans are urged to wear red and white and get into the ground by 5pm

And if you're in Kew beforehand, get yourself down to The Steam Packet for afternoon beers by the river and the Beesotted quiz which kicks off around 4.15pm

We also hear from Ricky from Last Word on Spurs with the opposition preview and his thoughts on Tottenham ahead of the game

Plus, a reminder that Beesotted will be live on TalkSPORT Drive Time with Darren Bent and Dany Goldstein on Thursday 20th August from 4pm to 7pm - with Brentford fans joining us live
