Summary Zach Killey joins the show to talk about the Enneagram as a possible Trojan Horse inside the church. The episode warns that personality systems can look harmless but may shift Christians away from biblical identity in Christ and toward self-focused spirituality.
Key Takeaways The episode argues that the Enneagram should be viewed with caution, especially when used inside Christian spaces. The biggest warning is that personality systems can become identity systems, and identity systems can compete with identity in Christ. The “Trojan Horse” idea is broader than the Enneagram. It refers to any cultural, spiritual, or ideological system that enters quietly but later reshapes belief. The church needs discernment, not trend-chasing. The hunger for identity is real, but the biblical answer is not hidden self-knowledge. It is Christ, Scripture, repentance, discipleship, and sanctification. New Age concepts often enter Christian spaces through soft language: healing, self-awareness, inner work, spiritual growth, personality, energy, mindfulness, and transformation. The practical test is whether a tool points people more deeply to Jesus Christ or subtly turns them inward toward self-definition
