Episode 92 | BILLY SHEEHAN INTERVIEW (DAVID LEE ROTH / MR. BIG / WINERY DOGS / TALAS / GCS)
Beer Rum & Rock N RollShow Notes
Welcome to the 'Beer Rum & Rock N Roll' podcast. A rock music podcast hosted by Randy Legault. Saving rock - one conversation at a time.
Randy is joined by legendary bassist Billy Sheehan to celebrate the 40th anniversary of David Lee Roth’s landmark album, ‘Eat 'Em and Smile’. Billy shares stories from the studio and the road and talks about the magic of that era. He also drops a bombshell about a brand-new album he is releasing featuring lost tracks that never made the final ‘Eat 'Em and Smile’ tracklist.
Plus, we dive into his current projects, including GCS (Eric Gales / Dennis Chambers / Billy Sheehan), The Fell, Talas and get his take on backing tracks and artificial intelligence in the music industry. If that's not enough, we find out who the inspiration was for his cutting edge tapping technique. Don't miss this epic conversation!
